Constance Renoir- Everyday is Valentine's Day #StyledbyBriaVanCooten

Last weekend I styled my best friend for what everyone looking in probably thought was only a Valentine's Day shoot. They had no idea that there was a music project behind the shoot.

This photoshoot was my first styling gig of 2016 & it was great that I was styling my best friend for her new project.

In total I styled 5 looks, the looks were versatile but kept the Valentine's Day theme. Adale(Most of you may know her as Constance) looked amazing in all 5 looks. The blonde hair complimented each look perfectly.

The first look was a wine colored low cut dress, a very sexy & sultry look. I paired the dress with a black leather moto jacket & some strappy nude heels.

The second look was a two piece red suit, paired with a red bra. To make the look POP I added some accents of other colors besides red. The blue shoes complimented the colorful fur shaul perfectly. I loved this look!

The third look was another fave because we wanted to switch up the reds & pinks of Valentine's Day. So, we did an all black look & accented the Valentine's Day theme with some red balloons.

The fourth look we incorporated a leotard and my favorite Winter accent piece, a fur coat.
The fur was a perfect hint of blush pink. I wanted this look to be intimate and "chill" so there were no shoes involved.

The last look was very black Barbie, especially with the blonde hair, it was perfect!
A little bit of Rihanna inspiration with the blazer & no bottoms.

Now, let's get to this new music. Constance recorded four covers of love songs just in time for Valentine's Day. She put her own spin on songs that we all should know and have sung around the house from time to time. She knows how to work her voice, not missing a note. Giving you hints of  sultry, soft & powerful through all four songs. She made each song her own.

The first song is "Love", originally sung by Keyshia Cole. This is definitely my favorite cover of the four songs.

The second song is "Broken Hearted Girl", originally sung by my fave Beyonce.

The third song is "Rain", originally sung by Razah. If you follow Constance's career, you know this was the first single of many she put out before her first mixtape R&Beat was released.

The last song is "I still believe", originally sung by her fave Mariah Carey.

Overall, I had an amazing time working with my best friend. I love listening to her talk about new music and working on new projects, you can see how much she loves singing and performing. You can see how excited she gets talking about new music, she is smiling and happy. I love hearing her sing, she has grown so much as an artist and person. To see how far she has come in making her dreams a reality, I am so proud to call her my best friend.

Also, thank you to Dwight for being assistant for the day & Donn for taking the flicks & for using his space.

Peace & Love,

- Bria
